John William Wright

John William doesn’t appear in 1911 as he had tragically died in 1907 of Meningitis allegedly. Had he survived he would certainly have served in WWI with James Arthur, Herbert, Donald and Charles. John Williams story has a poignancy about it. Named after one of Jane Booths brothers, there’s a lot of cross fertilisation of names in this family, his life is one of those cut short too soon so not a lot to say about him which is a great shame. Although another story is that John was killed by a horse kicking him in WW1 , however I think that the meningitis was the most probable.
