Welcome to the Wrights family website hosted on WordPress. This site was created and edited by Gary Wright (great Grandson of James Wright) and Dominic Wright (Great, Great, Great Grandson of James) as a collaborative exercise to combine our collective research, data and materials. Along the way (so far) a wealth of information, anecdotes, artifacts and above all help has been given by too many to mention, many of them distant cousins but every item they have provided has been extremely appreciated. For my own part this work started way way back in the 80’s when I began to get more curious about my own origins. It’s been very rewarding with some frustrations along the way too but I hope you enjoy reading.
